A gCADPlus user from Holland asks for some advice on printing a design to an exact 1:100 scale on an A3 sheet complete with a title block. We load the excellent design work into gCADPlus and move from model space to layout space, ensure that the floating viewport is locked to a scale of 100, select a PDF writer, set print 1:1 in the print box, and generate the print. We check our work by laying a ruler over the scale bar and are reassured that it reads exactly 5 cm. We use the Bullzip PDF writer because transparency was used in creating some of the symbology. Bullzip seems to handle gCADPlus drawings containing entities with transparency better than other PDF writers.
Here is the proof that we have achieved an exact 1:100 scale print.
