Here are some links to a series of plant database files used by gCADPlus. Each is a simple ASCII text file that has the extension .gcp. To use one of these plant data files, download and save with the extension .gcp.
Edible Garden [Planting for urban food forest with and emphasis on sub tropical species.]
Kentucky [Species suitable for the USA state of Kentucky.]
GardenCAD [default data file delivered with gCADPlus.]
Paris7 [Species suitable for urban planting in the Paris area.]
Florida [Species suitable for tropical climates]
Mediterranean Species suitable for a Mediterranean climate
Using a gcp file
Load the file from the gCADPlus drop down menu shown below.
Select gCADPlus drop menu and edit list. The data file is displayed inside gCADPlus with the design shown below.
